What is the summer school program in Sherbrooke?

Small Group
– 3 to 10 students per class
This summer school structure follows the configuration of the educational camps announced by the Department of Education and Higher Education. The courses are offered from July 5 to August 20, 2022 and allow elementary and secondary students (1-3) to participate, each day of the week, in courses with the same teacher and the same small group of students in order to consolidate their learning, review the curriculum of the school year and introduce the concepts of the coming year.
- Location: Online.
- Subjects: French and mathematics
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (1h30 / day). (Consult our registration form for group schedules)
Rate: $75.00/week.

Individual
– Summer courses online or at home
Individual summer courses are offered to students from elementary to secondary 3. The courses are held by a certified Tutorax tutor and allow the student to benefit from individualized and personalized instruction which will help him/her master the essential concepts and knowledge and to be ready for the next school year. This type of course is accepted by most public and private schools.
- Locations: Online or at home depending on your choice.
- Subjects available: French, English, Math, History, Geography and Science.
- Schedule: According to your child’s availability (Available 7 days a week)
- Certificate : Given on request.
Rates: $41.00 – $47.00/hour.

Summer school certificate offered to students in Sherbrooke

– An attestation of participation indicating the number of class hours completed by the student.
– An attestation of achievement of the Ministry’s program objectives.

How often and for how long are the lessons held ?
At Tutorax, there is no obligated amount of hours. Each student has different needs, so you are free to tailor the frequency and duration of the sessions to whatever works best for your child.
How does billing work ?
Payments are made with a credit card. Bills are sent on a weekly basis, every Thursday.
Are the services eligible for tax deduction ?
Yes, tutoring services are eligible for tax deduction. Moreover, a portion of the costs associated with our services may be reimbursed by certain insurance plans. We invite you to contact your insurance company for more information.
How long does it take before I get my first tutoring lesson ?
Once you’ve completed your registration, Tutorax guarantees to find you a tutor in less than seven days for in-home tutoring and 24 to 48 hours for virtual tutoring service.
